Another moment was from years before, bass fishing from the shore of my local resevoir. At the 1st hint of the next movement a hole the size of a 5 gallon bucket magically opened beneath my lure with an audible WHOOOSHHH!!!
I was lucky that plug didn't take my eye out as it flew past my head at high speed, the result of my excited, early strike!
